Pages of the Yearbook

The Gutenberg yearbook is the leading international scholarly yearbook in the fields of Gutenberg research and research into media based on letters. It was founded by Aloys Ruppel in the name of the Gutenberg Society and has been published by the Society since then. In this lavishly produced publication of approximately 400 pages you usually find some thirty contributions by an international range of authors in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Outstanding typographers have engaged in the design of the yearbook, for example Karl Klingspor, Christian Heinrich Kleukens and Max Caflisch. Since 1995 it is edited by Professor Dr. Stephan Füssel, director of the Institute for the History of the Book at the University of Mainz.
The Gutenberg Yearbook is available on the market for € 75; for members it is included in the annual membership fee.
